Live your dream life.

My grandmother taught me to dream and my mother gave me the tools. By the grace of God and through faith, I have lived a life that I imagined in my dreams. To be clear, my dreams were not the dreams that my grandmother dreamed for me, but I believe she was and would still be pleased with the life I am blessed to live. And I know my mom approves.

My first memory was of life in the housing projects of New Orleans. I recall from my earliest memories that I was loved. For some reason, I always had a sense that these people believed that I could do anything I set my mind to. So I dreamed big.

My grandmother taught me to pray each morning as we made her bed and did chores. Today, we’d probably call these meditations. This caused me to live a faith-filled and intentional life, always trusting that my future would be even greater than my past. I never lost that feeling that there were people believing and depending on me to succeed. Through faith, I share this energy of constant expectation with with others.

I hope you will join me on this adventure through life in this space where we express gratitude for the blessings of the past and live hopeful for the life that awaits, if we put our faith in action!
